*For this tutorial I have removed the art from a sample song included in Windows 7. I will be using Google as well.

Step 1: After opening iTunes, select the song that you were unable to obtain album art for automatically right click and select “Get Info.”

Step 2: Once inside the song’s properties (Assuming you’ve fixed your album names at this point) click on the “info” tab, highlight and copy the album name.

Step 3: Google is your friend (you can use any search engine I suppose, I will be using Google for this tutorial.). Take the text you copied in step 2 and paste it into the search bar.

Once the search has been completed continue on to the images tab in Google.

Step 4: Once in image view of Google, select the image of album art that matches the artist and album names.

Step 5: Click on the image and then click on “see full size image” link.

When the full size images loads right-click and “save image as..”

Step 6: Now return to iTunes to the song’s properties box and select the “Artwork” tab. Then Select “Add.”

Step 7: Browse through files to where you saved the album art image to and double click the image.

Step 8 (and in my opinion the best step): Completion. =)

For a Monitor I already have a “Power Acoustik: PTID-8940NRBT” Head unit. However eventually this will be replaced by a touch screen 7″ Flip-up computer monitor. I chose the “VMI70  7 inch in-dash flip-up vga touchscreen monitor”

Also in my plans I’ve added a secondary input device. I’ve added this device because even if you do use the VMI70 it’s still nice to be able to use a keyboard that is in your hands rather than on the touch screen. First you’ll need a bluetoooh dongle for your carputer. I went as little as possible (coincidentally it was a really inexpensive dongle). I chose the “Bluetooth usb Micro Adapter Dongle”. This dongle is found on Amazon.
